There is a quiet weight that comes with having horses. The responsibility, the unpredictability, the constant awareness. The sense that you should be able to cope, stay steady, and keep going — even when things feel uncertain or difficult. At the same time, horses are often the place we go to feel better. To slow down. To breathe. To reconnect. This course explores that space in between. Not as something to fix, and not as something to get right - but as something to understand. Between Us looks at the relationship between horse and rider through a different lens. One that includes both nervous systems, the environment you share, and the internal patterns that shape your experience. You will explore: why being a horse person can feel more complex than it appears how tension, pressure, and expectation develop the role of awareness, regulation, and environment how to move away from self-judgement and toward clearer observation simple ways to support both you and your horse in everyday interactions This is not a training system, and it is not about perfect riding. It is about developing a quieter, steadier way of being with your horse - one that allows space for both the rewarding and the difficult parts of the experience. Over time, this creates a relationship that feels less pressured, more balanced, and easier to navigate. Not because everything is perfect. But because it is better understood.
