Is My Horse OK? There are moments, often quiet ones, where something doesn’t quite feel as expected. Not dramatic. Not obvious. Just a sense that something has shifted. This course is a calm, practical starting point for understanding what your horse might be feeling - without jumping to conclusions or searching for problems. Instead of focusing on labels or behaviours in isolation, we begin with a different question: What might be happening underneath what I’m seeing? Through a simple, thoughtful framework - Comfort, Confidence, and Coping - you’ll learn how to look at your horse in a way that brings more clarity, without overwhelm. We’ll explore: how to step away from labels and assumptions how to recognise small but meaningful changes what to notice in behaviour, movement, and expression how to hold uncertainty without rushing to fix and how to begin choosing your next step with more confidence This is not a course about diagnosis. And it’s not about getting everything right. It’s about learning how to notice - quietly, carefully, and without judgement. You don’t need experience. You don’t need the “right” answers. Just a willingness to pause, and look again. From there, understanding begins to take shape - one small piece at a time.
